Toasted Calabash

My friend and I came for lunch and had an amazing time. The staff was very accommodating and the food was great! More than great! They had been short staffed that day, so the husband and wife who owned the restaurant were helping out, and were beyond sweet and friendly. My family is local, so we’ve come here a few times and will definitely be back. Good food, good vibes and friendly staff!!! 💕⭐️

The food was absolutely delicious! I ordered the sampler, and my boyfriend got the country fried filet. Everything was fresh, cooked perfectly, and came out just right. The biscuits were especially fluffy and delicious! Unfortunately, while we were there, another customer started cussing out the owner over something that the customer had caused himself. The situation escalated to the point where the customer was even rude enough to spit on the owner. Despite all of that, the owner handled the situation incredibly well and didn’t let it affect his attitude, his work, or the experience for the rest of the customers. I really respected how professionally he handled such a difficult situation. Great food, great service, and a hardworking owner who deserves some recognition. We’ll definitely be back.

Nick and Cherie were AMAZING! We were there for our last meal from our bachelorette trip and they made the ending amazing ! The vibes are unmatched and food was so fast and amazing! Drinks were sooooo good! We witnessed the owner nick deal with an unruly customer and he handled hisself ver professional, then went right back giving the best service! Super impressed about everything and the atmosphere! WE WILL BE BACK!

Omg the food and drinks here are amazing but the VIBES are immaculate. Nick and Cherie are so personable and affable and made our experience more than we could have imagined. We came as a bachelorette party and happened to witness an incident in which the owner was assaulted by a belligerent guest and the way he handled it was truly admirable. He went right back to serving his guests and you would have never known there as an issue. The food came out fast, hot and delicious. Everyone was friendly and I can’t wait to come back.

We had breakfast here. The service and food were amazing. While we were there, a group of people were clearly difficult and complaining about a speaker (which was totally fine) the owner nick moved them and was very accommodating, the group was aggressive and cursed at the owner calling him names. Nick asked them To leave nicely. The man spit on mock the owner. I was Suprosed how well nick carried himself. Very professional and maintained his calm. Go support this small business. They deserve all the business and order their mimosas they’re amazing. Couldn’t be more impressed with a restaurant. We will definitely be back.

Went here for brunch with my husband, our daughter and we brought my grandmother, who recommended we try this place out (we are from New York). I don’t even know where to start, upon arriving we were greeted by the sweetest fur baby (a cat) laying on the porch. Walk in, greeted by everyone, including the owner, who actually sat down with us just for a chat. The place feels warm and welcoming all thanks to the amazing staff. Grant was such an amazing waiter, he heard I love seltzer (soda water) and he would see me running low and would replace it before I even had to ask. He recommended the bourbon sour and old fashion mimosas they make and my husband was impressed by both drinks. Now let’s get to the food, my grandma and husband both went with biscuit bottoms, the classic and the Pineapple Express biscuit bottoms. They loved it. I don’t think I have seen my grandma finish a plate of food before this one. I myself had the chicken and waffles with the hot honey and I too loved my dish. My daughter got a chocolate chip pancake that we received rather quick and it was a big big pancake. This allowed us to feed her and then eat ourselves while our food was still hot. This place gets a 5 star review simply because they can anticipate needs and were the friendliest wait staff I have ever had the pleasure of encountering and their food is top tier. We will be back to visit my grandmother again and we will be coming back here to eat again. Keep up the great work guys. PS I wish I thought to take pictures of the food 😬 next time.

I am so sorry it took us so long to finally try Toasted. We have now gone twice for dinner and once for breakfast in the span of two weeks. The food is exceptional, with classic dishes and generous portions. I admit that I’ve made my two dinners into an entire lunch the next day. The biscuits are the real deal. If you are an aficionado of biscuits, Toasted is a must. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the owner has been hospitable, welcoming, and chatty in a way that doesn’t make me want it to end. More than anything, if you love good food, you will love this menu.

Highly recommend! Everyone was friendly, food and drink was fantastic! We had chocolate kiss martinis and burgers!
